Salem’s Relay for Life

A guest blog post from IT’s Clarke Grasty of our Salem office.

Relay for Life of Salem was a big success on Saturday. It was a little warm, but we had some breaks from the heat with a few cloudy spells. Several OneBeacon employees and family came out to walk and enjoy all of the games and food.

The overall grand total for all teams stands at $36,200. OneBeacon’s team is currently in second place with just over $5,000. We have the Paint Night donations June 12th and a Basket Raffle in August which will add to our totals. Our goal is to reach first place when Relay 2018 closes the books at the end of August!

Many thanks to all OneBeacon and Hanover staff who participated in our fundraisers and made donations. Also, many thanks to the OneBeacon team that came on out on Saturday and braved the heat during the middle of the day.

Also, Friday June 29th will be Cancer Awareness Night at the Salem Red Sox game. Tickets are $10 regular admission and $12 for reserved seats. A portion of the sales will go to Salem Relay for Life. You can purchase tickets for this at the Salem Red Sox website.

Enjoy the photos and thanks again for your support!
